My other classes

I like the history of British better than any other class I take. I'm very interested in it, so I also read books on it. I like the teacher, too. Her talk is funny. I also like Japanese economy theory. I can know things familiar to me in the class, so I'm interested in it. The harder I learn it, the more I want to be familiar with it. In addition, my favorite class have a common thing. They don't give us homework. That's so good. I hope to get high scores of the classes' examinations.

Carl Goes Up





I found this video in EnglishCentral. It is a part of the movie, "Carl Goes Up." I wanted to watch it, but I haven't done. Has it been broadcasted on TV yet? I guess it has been done. I'm interested in the movie because I heard it really moved. Hayao Miyazaki, who is a famous artist, really liked the first ten seconds of it and adimired. In addition, the characters are so cute. I want to watch it on TV. I wish it would be broadcasted again. Have you watched it yet? Tell me your impression of it if you have done it.

My hobbies

My hobbies are listening to music and reading. I like various kinds of music. My favorite singers are Avril Lavigne, Justin Bieber, Charlotte Church, Hanako Oku, and so on. Nowadays I often listen to Avril's songs. her songs make me cheerful, so I like her the best of my favorite singers and I bought her album, "Goodbye Lullaby." My favorite novelists are Munenori Harada and Kiyoshi Shigematsu. The essays written by the former are funny and fun. The novels by the latter are usually dark in the first half but make our heart warmed at the end. I want you to read them.

BR 1-05: William Shakespeare

I chose this book because because I have heard William Shakespeare was a wonderful artist and I wanted to know his life.

I felt Shakespeare was great. He was an actor when he was young. That time, people thought actors were wicked. Nonetheless, he enjoyed his jobs as an actor and had loved plays. He had wanted to be a writer since he was a child and he made many wonderful scripts. I could be a writer finally. After that, he also enjoyed huge success as it. I admired that.

I recommend this book to you. It is a success story. It'll cultivate yourselves.

Reflections on my BRs

I have chose the story and non-fictions because I wanted to know wonderful jobs famous people did. I've posted 4 books.

Music I like

First, one of my favorite singers is Avril Lavigne. Her music makes me fine. I like her style. I have two her album, "The Best Damn Thing" and "Goodbye Lullaby." The song I often listen to nowadays is "I love you." It makes me become composed.

In addition, I like Charlotte Church who is a soprano. My teacher in my junior high school introduced her to me. Her singing voice is so beautiful. She also looked beautiful when her album "Prelude" appeared.

Finally, I like choruses because I belonged to chorus clubs when I was a junior high school student and a elementary school student, so I have a favorite chorus group, which is LIBERA. Their singing voices are very beautiful. They make me comfortable.

Essay 1-02a: Welcome to KGU!

Welcome to KGU. I'm a student at the department of foreign languages in KGU. I mainly learn English and Spanish. I found a lot of good points in KGU for a year, so I'll introduce them to you so that you can have a better university life after you enter KGU.

First, KGU has beautiful and useful facilities. I like the library the best of them and I often go there. It has the best number of books of libraries in private universities in Kyushu and it has rare books. In addition, it is large and beautiful, so you can read books comfortably there. Then, it has the other good points. You can use a computer there or watch DVDs by yourself or with your friends. I have ever watched a film there with my friend once. The library also has some private rooms so that you can study alone for hours. When you get tired studying, you can read a fashion magazine, too. I was surprised at first because there were the popular magazine, "non-no" there.

Next, you should look at the boards. They have a lot of useful and important information. For example, changes of class rooms, schedules of no lecture, various events and so on. They'll give you good chances. In fact, I was able to get them from the boards. University students have to get them positively by themselves, so looking at the boards and getting useful information are your first step as getting good chances in your university life.

Finally, I hope that you'll meet various people in KGU. There are many kind teachers and seniors. If you have things you don't know and ask about them, they'll tell you kindly. There are exchange students in KGU, too. If you communicate with them, you'll be able to broaden your view of the world. You can meet them in English Lounge or Welcome party. Looking at the board, you are able to know when the party will be held. It is a lot of fun, so I recommend you to join it.

As you can see, KGU has a lot of nice points and will help you get good chances. If you enter it, you can get your wonderful university life.

Mother's Day

I went to Tsuruya with my boyfriend to buy a present for my mother. Why did I do? Today is Mother's day. I hadn't give my mother a present in Mother's day for a long time, but I really thank her nowadays and I want to give her something useful for her. My ideal present was a cheap and useful thing because I didn't do any part-time job. I found my ideal present in my favorite store, Afternoon Tea. It was "COOL GEL" which had pretty design. I thought it was useful when she worked or watched my brother's basketball game in summer.

My boyfriend bought a cute handkerchief for his mother at the handkerchief section in Tsuruya. The clerks of the section always pack handkerchieves beautifully. Today, one of them packed more beautifully the handkerchief my boyfriend bought because of Mother's day. By the way, the section sells a lot of cute handkerchieves and my mother sometimes bought some of them for me, so I like the section and had introduced it to my boyfriend.

After we had lunch, we went to the library in Kumamoto university, where my boyfriend goes. I'm KGU student, but I had got the card to enter the library before, so I could enter, too. We studied there. But it was hot in the library and I couldn't put up with that, so my boyfriend suggested to me that we went to buy ice creams, and we did. We got comfortable a little after we ate them. But I felt uncomfortable about the heat soon and I wanted to go home. After all, we went home soon. I was sorry for my self-centeredness, but I couldn't really endure the heat. We went to the place near my house, had a pleasant talk about for a hour, and went each home.

Then, I gave the present to my mother. She was glad about it, so I was happy, too. It was a nice day.

BR 1- 04: Mary Queen of Scots

I chose the book because I'm interested in histories of foreign countries and Mary was a famous queen in Scotland.

After reading the book, I was sorry for the queen of Scots, Mary because I knew that she had been misunderstand and killed. In addition, her husband was very bad because he helped his friends kill her important friend, so I felt her life was hard. At last part of the book, the way of her dying was written and I got uncomfortable.

I recommend you to read this book because you'll be able to know the history well.

BR 1-03: Princess Diana

I learned the Royal family in the class of the history of British and I wanted to learn more someone of it, so I chose this book.

After I finished reading it, I thought Princess Diana was a great person. I felt she was very kind because I learned that she helped the poor, the aged, people with AIDS. She was loved by a lot of people, but she divorced Prince Charles, was run after by many photographers, and died because of them, so I wonder whether she thought her life happy or not.

I hope that you'll read the book because I want you to know the wonderful jobs by Diana and I want to know that what you think of Diana's life.

Go to Fukuoka with my family

Yesterday, I went to Costco in Fukuoka with my family. My younger brother couldn't go there together because he joined the basketball club. I went there for the first time. My father, mother and younger sister have ever gone there some times. I had heard that Costco is a large store for business from my mother before I went there. So, I didn't understand why she wanted me to go there together because I thought that to do wouldn't make me enjoy.

In fact, I enjoyed the trip. There were many shops near Costco. I also enjoyed window-shopping because I had shopped a lot recently. My mother bought a clothes for my younger sister. Of course, I enjoyed Costco, too. There were really many things there. We could nice hot dogs there after shopping. We shopped a lot of things. I had a good time.

Happy Shopping

I went shopping with my mother and sister yesterday. My sister and I had our hair cut at our favorite beauty parlor in the shopping mall in the morning. I ate curried food which had existed only during Golden Week in the restaurant with my mother and sister. It was very delicious but the volume was too large for me to eat all. We bought some things in the shopping mall. We were tired because we walked a lot, but we were very happy. At about 4:00 pm, we thought we went home, but we suddenly wanted go to the other shopping mall. So, we went there. We also shopped there and got some clothes. I was glad that my mother bought me a cute blouse whose color was pink. Thank you, my mother! I was very tired but very happy.
