I had heard the title, "Sleeping Beauty," but I didn't know the story well. I wanted to know it, so I chose the book.
When I was reading it, I got a question. When Fairy Weed casted a bad spell on Princess Aurora, it said that Princess Aurora was going to prick her finger on a spinning wheel and die when she was sixteen. However, she didn't die but slept for a hundred years when she pricked it on it. I wonder that. When she fell asleep, Fairy Sunflower made all people in castle sleep because it thought Princess Aurora couldn't sleep alone for a hundred years. I guess the other reason why it didn't want her to be sad that all people in the castle died while she was sleeping when she awoke. In fact, people die and don't notice they died if they are sleeping for a hundred years. However, the book is a fantasy. The readers don't have to think of some difficult things. In the story, people don't grow older if they sleep, so Fairy Sunflower decided to make all people in the castle sleep so that they didn't grew older until Princess Aurora awoke.
I want you to read the book because it is a story with a happy ending. It also has beautiful pictures.
